The third annual Women’s March drew more than 1,000 people who support women’s rights, as well as human rights, to the streets of Fresno. The Truth to Power-themed demonstration on Jan. 19 featured a rally, a march, tables with information from community organizations and artistic performances. The powerful lineup of speakers included Calif. Senator Melissa Hurtado (D-Sanger), and a speech by Aileen Rizo, who received a favorable ruling in her fight for Equal Pay last year in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
