Governor Gavin Newsom’s proposed state budget is evidence of California’s commitment to continue fostering an economy that creates opportunities for upward mobility. FRESNO, CA –Senator Melissa Hurtado (D-Sanger) and Senator Anna Caballero (D-Salinas) hosted a joint Community Swearing-In Ceremony at Carpenter Local 701 in Fresno, California on Friday, January 25. Newly elected to represent the 14th Senate district in California, Senator Hurtado welcomed more than 200 community members and local representatives to the event.
